Our Take
If your idea of a great movie involves explosions, a few car chases, and a villain with a mustache, the Russo brothers made exactly the thing for you. The Gray Man is the John Wick rival that somehow slipped past almost everyone, and it hits hard. You feel every punch in your own teeth.
The setup: a former CIA operative working as a "gray man," someone who officially doesn't exist, stumbles onto something he was never meant to know. Within minutes the entire world is hunting him, led by Chris Evans trading his noble-hero cape for a genuinely unhinged psychopath (with a mustache). What follows is a globe-trotting circus of gunfights, brawls, and the cheerful destruction of pretty much everything in frame.
What you get is an action film that actually lands, with characters you believe in no matter how absurd the stunts get. And one throwaway line tossed off mid-carnage, "just another Tuesday," will quietly become your mantra for surviving the worst days life hands you. Not bad for a popcorn flick.
Synopsis
