Agreement

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and One Film, MB (a company registered in Lithuania at Giedraičių g. 39, R53, 09302, Vilnius, Lithuania; "One Film", "we", "us", or "our"), covering the One Film website (onefilm.io) and the One Film iOS app (together, the "Service").

By creating an account, downloading or using the app, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old to use One Film.

If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, you confirm that a parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

What One Film Is

One Film is a film-recommendation service. We are not a streaming service and we do not host or stream films. Film metadata is provided by TMDB. The Service provides:

• Film recommendations
• Curator reviews
• Custom lists
• Viewing statistics

Your Account

You need an account to use the app. You can sign in with Apple, Google, or email. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account, and you agree to notify us promptly at info@onefilm.io if you suspect any unauthorized use. If you violate these Terms, we may suspend or close your account.

Communications & Marketing

When you create an account, you agree that we may contact you by email. This includes:

• Service messages: account, security, and subscription notices, and other messages needed to operate the Service. These are part of using One Film and cannot be opted out of while you have an account.
• Promotional messages: occasional product news, offers, and film recommendations.

Opting Out

You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time. Just use the unsubscribe link in any such email, or contact us at info@onefilm.io. Opting out is as easy as opting in, and it will not affect the service messages above. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

Subscriptions and Payments

One Film offers a free tier and an optional paid subscription ("One Film Pro"). All purchases, subscriptions, and payments are processed by Apple through the App Store, so we never receive or store your payment details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and are managed through your Apple ID settings. For full details on trials, cancellations, and refunds, see our Refund Policy.

Price Changes

The price or term of a subscription may change over time. If it does, we will let you know in advance. Price or term changes apply to the next billing period after the change takes effect, never retroactively. If you do not agree to a change, you can reject it by cancelling your subscription before it takes effect. This does not affect any mandatory cancellation or refund rights you have under the law of your country of residence.

License

Your access to the Service and its content is licensed to you, not sold. We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download and use the app, and to use the website, for your own personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by us. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to, and not to allow others to:

• Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service or make it available to third parties.
• Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where the law expressly permits.
• Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
• Use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, or disrupt or attack the Service or its infrastructure.

User Content and Community

One Film includes social features: friends, a display name others can see, film gifts, and public profiles. You are responsible for anything you make visible to others, including your display name and profile.

You agree not to post, share, or display content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable, and not to impersonate anyone or misuse another person's information. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior.

You can remove a friend at any time, and you can report anything that concerns you to info@onefilm.io. We review reports promptly and may remove content, revoke access to social features, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Apple App Store Terms

The following applies because the app is distributed through the Apple App Store:

• These Terms are between you and One Film only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
• Your license to use the app is limited to use on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
• Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app.
• To the extent permitted by law, any product warranties are our responsibility, not Apple's; if the app fails to conform to a warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any), and Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• One Film, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app (including product-liability, legal-compliance, or consumer-protection claims).
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Your Suggestions

If you send us feedback, ideas, or suggestions about the Service, we are free to use them to improve One Film without any obligation of confidentiality and without owing you anything for them. We may already be considering or developing something similar. This does not affect your ownership of anything else you create.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its contents, features, and functionality (software, text, design, and arrangement) are owned by One Film or its licensors and are protected by Lithuanian and international copyright, trademark, and other laws. Film posters, stills, and metadata belong to their respective rights holders and are provided via TMDB. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our material without our prior written permission.

Third-Party Services and Links

The Service relies on third-party providers (such as Apple, Google, and TMDB) and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

Film information (titles, posters, synopses, and similar metadata) comes from TMDB. If you believe any film information is incorrect, please submit a correction directly to TMDB at themoviedb.org.

Changes to the Service

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service over time. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes, but some changes may need to happen without notice. You can stop using the Service at any time.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. If we discontinue the Service while you hold an active paid subscription, our Refund Policy explains what happens.

Technical Support & Malfunctions

We try to address technical issues with the Service promptly during normal business hours. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss caused by a partial or total breakdown of the Service or by technical malfunctions. This does not affect rights that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you.

Reporting a Problem

If you think something is wrong with the Service, please contact us at info@onefilm.io. We honor our legal duties regarding the quality of our services, which vary depending on your country of residence and the nature of the service you receive.

Disclaimers

Your use of the Service is at your own risk. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. This does not affect any warranties or rights that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you.

Events Beyond Our Control

We are not responsible for any failure or delay in providing the Service caused by events beyond our reasonable control, for example outages of our hosting or third-party providers, network or device problems, or other force-majeure events.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, One Film will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (such as lost profits or lost data) arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Your Consumer Rights

If you use One Film as a consumer in the European Union or another region with mandatory consumer-protection laws, those laws give you rights that these Terms do not take away. Nothing in these Terms limits the statutory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law allows.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable advance notice (for example, in the app or by email) before it takes effect. By continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect, you agree to the updated Terms; if you do not agree, you should stop using the Service.

General

These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy) are the entire agreement between you and One Film about the Service.

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in full effect. If we do not enforce a right or provision, that is not a waiver of it. We may transfer or assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, or reorganization; if you are a consumer in the EU/UK we will tell you in writing and the transfer will not reduce your rights. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent.

You agree that we may provide notices and communications to you electronically (by email to your registered address or by posting in the Service), and that these satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
